Tile style. Beautiful in Barcelona

Moooorning! And happy Friday - Woo hoo! To celebrate the end of the working week i thought i would throw in something completely different - a beautiful, colourful home in barcelona. I don't actually know where to start with this one so I think I'll just let you get on with it! Oh to be going to barcelona for the weekend and get lost in the winding streets of the old part......*sigh*

Have you got any exciting plans for the weekend? Going anywhere beautiful and exotic like Barcelona? Me? I'm off to Helsingborg. It's not exotic exactly but it is a very lovely city. Plus there's some great interior shopping to be done!

Oooooo! Love this all white Amsterdam apartment

I see a lot of similarities between Dutch and Scandinavian style and this beautiful Amsterdam apartment could quite easily be here in Sweden. I love the pretty touches of colour and ethnic accessories. But as you know, it had me at the first white room....

Perfect prints for the home

This afternoon I am loving 'Shhh my darling' prints by Italian duo Jenny and Gra.

If you have a mo pop over and check out their web shop. I particularly love these cushions. In my mind you can never have too many cushions, in my husband's mind we already have too many cushions.....can you see my dilemma?!

An artist's home in Stockholm, Sweden

Morning! I love this Stockholm home of artist Carola Kastman. It's teeming with quirky ideas, and I am so in love with the kitchen. That light over the kitchen table (possible DIY idea?), that shelf wall display, that artwork....oj oj oj!

I need to take another look at this after I have woken up over my morning latté! What did you like? See you this afternoon!

The Brooklyn home and studio of a set designer

I was browsing my usual favourite blogs this afternoon when I came across a post by wonderful French blog Merchant Design showing the stunning home of set designer Johanna Burke. The Brooklyn apartment has the most incredible light (such a contrast to the dark, grey day here in Sweden!) and I love the relaxed feel. I just had to share it with you. What do you think?

beautiful home with eclectic vintage designer furniture

despite the sombre tone I think this house is fab. I absolutely love the wooden floor, the beams and the mixed match furniture. And the Eames chairs, ooooh the Eames chairs. I think I *need* a yellow one! Lauritz is an excellent source for original vintage Eames chairs like these.

I am definitely in need of an extra strong coffee this morning as my littlest girl is starting nursery today and I am off to join her and her group for an hour! I'll need to look at lots of pretty home inspiration this morning to restore myself this afternoon! See you in a bit.
